Garbiñe Muguruza joins Fernando Domínguez-López to talk about her much awaited win at the Miami Open on Fox and Friends.
Garbiñe says her life is going to be amazing. “I have to enjoy it, it’s the first major victory for myself and now I know I’m on top of the world.”
She says her mom and dad have been very supportive in her career, especially with her brother. “I couldn’t make it without them, they’re the reason I’m here.”
The “new” Muguruza is a different player. “My life has completely changed. I was just 17. Now I’m 22, world number five, so it’s crazy!”
She’s trying to get ahead of the game and understand herself better by using an app called EEG or electroencephalography.
Garbiñe says all the players are guilty of the same but they’re not in the same bad positions that they were a year ago.
She’s looking to have fun, but her ultimate goal is to win multiple grand slams.
She says Miami was a very tough tournament but the most rewarding victory she had.
Garbiñe would like to say thank you to the FOX & Friends team and to everyone who voted for her!
